Wood by Puzzled Face
End-grain chopping boards are regarded by many as more visually striking than their end-grain counterparts. The exposed ends of the wood fibres create intricate patterns, often resembling a mosaic, chequerboard or other geometric pattern. This construction highlights natural variations in colour and grain, making each board appear distinctive and, in many cases, luxurious. As a result, end-grain boards are frequently favoured for presentation purposes or as statement pieces in high-end kitchens.
